Craving some spicy Indian food for dinner? Try out this simple and mouth watering potato curry recipe.
What you need (This recipe makes 5 servings):
-2 tbsp vegetable oil
-4 medium potatoes peeled and chopped into a size you prefer
-1 medium onion chopped
-1 tsp cumin seeds
-1 cup green peas
-1/2 tomato sauce
-1 packet biryani masala
-salt to taste
Add oil in a pot and fry onions on medium heat until they start to brown.
Once the onions start to brown add the cumin seeds, mix, and let it simmer for a minute.
Add the green peas and mix.
Add the tomato paste and mix.
Add the biryani masala, salt to taste, and mix.
Add one cup of water and mix.
Add the potatoes and mix.
Add half a cup of water, mix it all together, and let it cook on medium heat for 10-15 minutes.
Once it’s ready you can eat it with rice or any type of bread (naan, puri, chappati, parata…) and enjoy!
