Fall into the void of endless entertainment
ABC has, and continues to, broadcast some great and very addicting shows throughout its history. Here is a list of five of the current primetime television favorites that you cannot miss!
A captivating drama about a girl who lost her father, due to the actions of a rich and powerful family, whom she sets out to avenge. It is an addicting thriller that will keep you wanting more. The show is set in the Hamptons and almost every episode features a grand party with lots of glamour and style.
This is a hilarious comedy about an extended family who face their ups and downs but love each other unconditionally. The cast is fantastic, from the beautiful and hilarious Sophia Vergara to Ty Burrell, one of the greatest dads of TV! One of the most appealing things about this show is its mockumentary style where the characters’ exposure add more humour.
Even though the concept of this reality show may seem ridiculous it is certainly a guilty pleasure. A man dates 25 beautiful women with the hopes of marrying one of them. In every episode he sends home the women he does not see a future with and within a few weeks there is a proposal. This show is filled with extravagant dates at grand locations around the world. It also has its share of drama and some very possessive girls! Also check out the equally addicting spin off: The Bachelorette, which features a woman and 25 hunks!
The best thing about this show is that every episode faces new medical cases that entice the viewers: bomb in patients chest, pregnant man, man with hand stuck in a meat grinder, cancer patient with toxic blood that cause surgeons to pass out while operating. One of my favorites is the episode where there is a metal pole impaling two people and only one can survive. With a great cast list and surprising guest appearances, this is one of the most dramatic and heart wrenching shows on ABC.
Once Upon A Time
Once Upon A Time is the ultimate fairy-tale in a drama series and my favorite show on TV! The Evil Queen places a curse on all fairy-tale characters which transport them to the real world. Centering around the love story of Snow White and Prince Charming, this show interchanges between two story lines- one is in the fairy-tale world, the Enchanted Forest, and the other is in the real world, in a small town in Maine, called Storybrooke. It is interesting to see the intricately woven plot differences of the fairy-tale characters between both worlds. Also check out the spin off: Once Upon A Time in Wonderland, which is equally as addicting and with characters from Alice in Wonderland and Aladdin.
